Per serving
Add diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the meat and vegetables. Stir and taste a small spoonful to check if you want more seasoning.
Pour in the tomato sauce and stir everything together. Let it simmer for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend.
While the meat mixture simmers, warm the taco shells according to the package instructions.
Once the filling is ready, carefully spoon it into the warmed taco shells. Top with shredded cheese, lettuce, and a dollop of sour cream.
