Add the dry pasta to the boiling water and stir gently. Set a timer for 10 minutes to cook the pasta until al dente, which means it should be firm to the bite.
After 10 minutes, carefully taste a piece of pasta to check if it's cooked. If it's ready, ask an adult to help drain the pasta in a colander.
A light and flavorful sauce made with fresh vegetables.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Ask an adult to help with this step as the oil can get hot.
Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it!
Add the chopped bell pepper and zucchini to the skillet, and cook for 5 minutes until they start to soften.
Stir in the halved cherry tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Once the pasta is drained, return it to the pot and add the vegetable sauce. Mix everything together gently so the sauce coats the pasta evenly.
