A fun and crunchy snack where children can practice peeling and slicing apples into rings.

Gather all the ingredients and tools including a Y-peeler, a cutting board, and a knife. Ensure that you have a safe workspace.
Wash the apples thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt.
Using a Y-peeler, carefully peel the skin off the apple. Make sure to hold the apple firmly on the cutting board with one hand while peeling with the other. Be careful not to peel towards your fingers.
Once peeled, place the apple upright and slice it into rings about 0.5 inches thick using a knife. Ask an adult for help if you feel unsure about using the knife.
