A fun and easy recipe where children roll out dough balls for simple cookies, enhancing their fine motor skills through rolling.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. This is where we start building our cookie dough!

In another bowl, mix the softened butter and sugar until creamy. This is a great time to use your muscles!
Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well. Make sure to get everything combined!
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until the dough comes together. This is where the fun starts!
Now, it’s time to roll! Take small pieces of dough and roll them into balls about 1 inch in diameter. This is where you practice rolling!
Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between them.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Watch them closely so they don’t burn!
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
