A fun and engaging recipe for kids to learn how to boil water and cook pasta with adult supervision.

Fill a large pot with 4 cups of water and add 1 tablespoon of salt.
Place the pot on the stove and turn the heat to high to start boiling the water.
Once the water is boiling (look for big bubbles), carefully add the pasta to the pot.
Per serving
Stir the pasta gently with a wooden spoon to prevent it from sticking together.
Set a timer for 10 minutes (or as directed on the pasta package) to cook the pasta until it's al dente.
When the timer goes off, carefully ask an adult to help drain the pasta in a colander in the sink.
