A warm and delicious snack made by baking fruit slices until crisp. Perfect for kids to learn about using the oven safely!

Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C). Make sure to ask an adult for help with this step!
In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples and pears, lemon juice, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Mix well to coat the fruit evenly.
Arrange the fruit slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure they are not overlapping to bake evenly!
Carefully place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Remember to use oven mitts to protect your hands!
Per serving
Bake the fruit slices for about 2 hours, or until they are crispy. Check them every 30 minutes to see how they're doing!
Once baked, remove the fruit crisps from the oven using oven mitts. Let them cool for a few minutes before enjoying!
