A fun and interactive recipe for kids to make delicious pancakes while learning about mixing ingredients and perfecting their whisking skills.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
Crack the egg into a separate small bowl and whisk it lightly before adding it to the dry ingredients.
Per serving
Add the milk and melted butter to the mixing bowl with the dry ingredients and egg.
Using a whisk, gently mix all the ingredients together until the batter is smooth, but be careful not to overmix!
Let the batter rest for 5 minutes to thicken slightly before cooking.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. You can check if it's hot enough by sprinkling a few drops of water; if they dance and evaporate, it's ready!
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
Serve warm with your favorite toppings like syrup, fruit, or whipped cream!
